This notice covers one thing only: the launch-notification sign-up on this page, where you can ask to be emailed when SHAPES for Blender becomes available. Everything else about using the Brave Rabbit website, including cookies, server logs, hosting and your full data-protection rights, is covered by our main privacy policy.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the data described here is Clemens & Barenbrock GbR (Brave Rabbit), mail – åt – braverabbit – døt – com. Full controller details are in the main privacy policy.

2. The launch notification list

If you enter your email address and tick the consent box, we add you to a list whose only purpose is to send you one email when SHAPES for Blender becomes available. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not send any other messages to it.

Sending the emails. To send the confirmation email and that launch notification, your email address is processed by our own server mail system, used solely for this purpose. We do not pass it to any third-party email service.

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving it is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time before the email is sent (see section 4).

Double opt-in. After you submit the form, we email you a confirmation link. You are only added to the list once you click it. If you never click, the unconfirmed entry is deleted automatically after seven days. This protects you from someone else entering your address.

What we store for each entry, as a record that consent was freely given:

  • your email address;
  • the exact consent wording you agreed to;
  • the date, time and IP address when you signed up;
  • the date, time and IP address when you confirmed.

The address and these records are kept in a file on our own server, outside the public website, accessible only to us. We do not collect a name or any other detail. (General hosting arrangements are described in the main privacy policy.)

3. How long we keep it

  • Confirmed addresses: deleted once the launch email has been sent, or sooner if you withdraw.
  • Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted automatically after seven days.

4. Withdrawing and your rights

You can withdraw your consent, or ask to be removed from this list, at any time before the launch email is sent, by emailing mail – åt – braverabbit – døt – com. Withdrawal does not affect any processing already carried out.

Your full data-protection rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability) and the supervisory authority you can complain to are set out in our main privacy policy.

5. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes before launch, we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting people already on the list would be notified to them.
